Design Role:  This self-initiated concept explored alternatives to existing mechanical midsoles—moving beyond cylinder compression-based cushioning systems like Nike Shox and Adidas A3.

Inspired by the Michelin Tweel, I imagined a new midsole/outsole architecture. The result was a unique concept with a molded EVA foot bed connecting to a structural frame through a foot plate with molded outsole pods for traction. I led this exploration from initial concept to early prototypes. This project remained conceptual.
