Safety 1st Slide Lock

Design Brief: Redesign the Slide Lock to be more intuitive and consistent with the updated design language.

Design Role: The slide lock is a safety item to prevent toddlers from accessing cabinets. I led the design from ideation through production, exploring form and function through sketches, renderings, and mock-ups. The final design was discreet, ergonomic, and operable with one hand.
